Faced with the epidemic, 45 sanitation workers petitioned to work in the frontline.
"We volunteer to join the frontline cleaning work to fight against the epidemic and contribute our part!" On January 28, in response to the epidemic, 45 sanitation workers collectively wrote the "Challenge Letter" and entered the hospital whenever needed to participate in cleaning.
Cao Yinxiu, 47, is a sanitation worker at Hannan Branch of Shenzhen Longjishun Industrial Development Co., Ltd.
As a sanitation worker she has been cleaning in the frontline for 12 years. She has participated in many significant events such as the World Flying Conference, the Military Games, and environmental protection tasks. Whether it is registration or training, she has always been at the forefront. She said that although she has rich experience in first-line sanitation, working in frontline at hospital still is not the same thing as what she did in the past. The epidemic cannot be ignored. Once it spreads, everyone will become victims.
When her son knows that his mother was going to the hospital to participate in cleaning, he strongly opposed it. Finally, her son reluctantly agreed and told her to pay attention to protecting herself.
Zhu Jianxin, head of the Sanitation Section of the Urban Management Bureau of the district, introduced that 45 sanitation workers signed the petition on the day. They are mainly from Shenzhen Longjishun Industrial Development Co., Ltd. Hannan Branch and Hubei Xinxingjie Environmental Technology Company. At present, the company has systematic training for sanitation workers in personal protection, environmental hygiene operation mode, virus elimination, etc., to ensure that each sanitation worker can perform their tasks seriously, safely and effectively.
